Recruitment Process
Over the years Perfect Hire has tailored our recruitment process so we can recruit candidates with the best work ethic and attitudes possible. After our candidates apply for positions they are brought into our office for an interview. We ask them about their industry experience and references within the industry. We also find out where they want to go within the construction and work out a career pathway for them.
Safe Work Method Statements
We go through the importance of Safe Work Method Statements and how it is integral that they understand the tasks they will be carrying out and the risks associated with them.
Assignar™ – Fieldworker Application
Perfect has been using the Assignar™ Fieldworker application since it was released. We find it second to none to assist us in managing our large workforce and fleet of assets. We can ensure all our team members submit Work Site Arrival Forms and Site Safety Inspection checks. If there is an incident on site our team members can instantly flag it in the application and we can implement corrective action to ensure the safety of our team members.
Safety & Equipment Training
Once they complete the interview they undergo Safety & Equipment Training in our yard. This usually takes 2-3 hrs where we go through each and every piece of equipment they will be using on-site. Besides that, we go through the correct usage of the tools and equipment as well as the importance of wearing full PPE at all times.
We go through all equipment to ensure each candidate understands the correct and safe use of each of the following tools:
- Jackhammers
- Reciprocating Saw
- Demo Saw
- Grinders
- Drills
- Snappy Scaffold & Aluminium Scaffold
- Platform Ladders
- Lead Stands
- Generators
We find this training has been paramount to us picking the very best candidates to recruit if they are willing to come for a half day of training to our yard and apply themselves then they have the right attitude to join Perfect.

We look out for the candidates that apply themselves and are not afraid of doing the mundane work like sweeping and cleaning sites.
