The labour demand is climbing, not winding down
The Western Harbour Tunnel is a multi billion dollar crossing running between Rozelle and North Sydney, with tunnel boring under the harbour and a full tunnel fit out to follow through to completion later this decade. Fit out is where subcontractor packages multiply, and where labour demand climbs hardest.
That is the moment when induction becomes the constraint. Packages get awarded at short notice, the program does not move, and workers who have not been inducted cannot get through the gate. Our crews are already inducted on the project.
