Training

Basic and Advanced Tool Training allow our team members to learn the correct usage of advanced tools like our Oxy Cutter, Core Drills and Demolition Saws in a controlled and safe environment. These training sessions are ran by our most experienced Site Supervisors who have years of experience in Construction and know the dangers if these tools are not used correctly.

Basic Tool Training

Duration: approx. 4h
Participants: Max 20
Dress requirements: safety shoes, high visibility t-shirt, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves
Other requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age

TOOLS

  • Basic electrical equipment
  • General Tools
  • Snappy Scaffold

OUTLINE

This course covers:

  • Assembly & Safety (Including PPE required; Tags and lubrication where applicable)
  • Starting the tool and safe handling
  • Warning Signs Explanation
  • Fuel supply and water supply (where necessary)
  • Equipment failure procedure (including common faults, tagging out & reporting to supervisor / office)
  • Proper handling technique (including safety & posture) whilst using the tool
  • Attachments & how to attach to the tool safely & correctly
  • How to safely and correctly assemble/dismantle snappy scaffold

Advanced Tool Training

Duration: approx. 4h
Participants: Max 20
Dress requirements: safety shoes, high visibility t-shirt, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves
Other requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age

TOOLS

  • Demolition Saw (cutting vertically and horizontally)
  • Hand Core Drill
  • Oxy Cutter

OUTLINE

This course covers:

  • Assembly & Safety (Including PPE required; Tags and lubrication where applicable)
  • Starting the tool and safe handling
  • Warning Signs Explanation & What to look for prior to use
  • Gas/Fuel supply and water supply (where necessary)
  • Equipment failure procedure (including common faults, tagging out & reporting to supervisor / office)
  • Proper handling technique (including safety & posture) whilst using the tool
  • Attachments & how to attach to the tool safely & correctly
  • How to safely terminate use and how to correctly store the equipment/tool
